| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Basic Information~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Name: Valintine Ravenfield Alias: Gender: Male Age: 2,000 Visual Age: 19 Race: Vampire Type: Incubus Sexual Orientation: Gay Blood Type(Optional): Birth Date(Optional): Star Sign(Optional): Extra Information: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Appearance~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Appearance: - Spoiler:
Height(optional): -- Weight(optional): -- Body Type: Athletic Extra Feature: He has heterochromia. His right eye is amber, while his left eye is a crystal blue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Persona~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Personality: Valintine is first and foremost very manipulative. He is a maze of a person, never really guiding you to the true Valintine or to whatever truth you desire. Only to those whom he holds dear will he offer the answer to the maze. He often appears to have an amused face. As if everything is a joke to him. Or if it's not amused then it's apathetic or tired in the sense that he's bored. Very very rarely will he show rage or sadness. His vampire pride forbids such a thing to happen or to show. His anger, when he does get enraged, comes out of an amused face with a cynical smile. His voice becomes more critical and sharp as if he's trying to shorten his time spent talking. He is also very charming, sweet, kind, and caring. But of course he is like this with everyone. It's not until you find your way through the maze that you see just how far he'd go for someone. Likes: Manipulation, Honesty (go figure), love, civil conversation / people. Dislikes: Love, brutish people, idiots. Goals: To experience what people call "True Love." Fears: Not seeing the moon the following night. Extra Information: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~History~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~History:Life: - Spoiler:
Valintine was born into a life less than perfect. Born into a life of slavery, young Valintine learned from birth how to please his masters. He learned not to show any emotion besides happiness. He was shown how to be a proper slave in a world of kings and nobles. He was born into a life of slavery, and his condition, heterochromia, would prevent him from ever going anywhere else. He didn't fit the definition of beauty. He would be a slave forever in their eyes. even if the average human lived only to about thirty or so...
It was from this training that he discovered he had a knack for lying. For speaking what needed to be spoken to avoid punishment. And so this was the start of the maze called Valintine.
Teenage years - Spoiler:
When Valintine was 15, he has become a master liar. He was able to get out of nearly any conflict. His voice was a gift from the gods, they'd say, and he was taught to read so that he may read to his master's children. He picked up singing and through his voice he whispered (a term used to describe his soft spoken voice) the children to bed. As stated however, he was 15. A 15 year old boy was slowly replacing the mother of these children. No mother likes to be replaced, especially by a child.
And so it was that a plan formulated. Of course vampires were known back then. They were hunted ruthlessly and killed casually. Their death was a public spectacle. The mother began scheduling late night meetings in dark allies with less than human people. And so finally a deal was struck. Valintine's life, for their weight in gold...
Death - Spoiler:
The plan didn't go into effect until he was twenty, but he had the blessing of looking at least nineteen or eighteen, and there were plenty of complications. First of all, the woman met with several different vampires and tempted them all. Secondly, no vampire had the desire to kill Valintine, only change him. They wanted to steal him from his life. And so began the meetings, the arguments, the rivalries...In the end a vampire from Bella Morte's bloodline won out.
The vampire was strong enough that it took one bite to turn Valintine. He was drained of his blood, and his body moved away from the house. Valintine awoke into the new world of vampires.
Vampiric Life - Spoiler:
Valintine's vampire life isn't anything glamorous or amazing. It's a typical story of a young man, turned vamp for all eternity. Although his early years, the first two hundred years, were spent serving other vampires. Though he couldn't give them blood, he could bring blood to them, pleasure them, serve them. He would be brought to parties and used as a party favor. Bella Morte, upon meeting him, saw his flaw. The flaw of his eyes, but after becoming a vampire, that flaw became his greatest asset. She adored that one mistake in his creation. It made him unique without making him ugly. And of course Bella Morte would never have an ugly vampire in her ranks.
Valintine stopped this senseless serving of others, sexually pleasing them, bending to their will, when he was three hundred. He stopped because he broke from their control. Their power over him ended upon him becoming a Master Vampire. He had no animal to call yet, but there wasn't a doubt that he was of Master class. And he fought for his freedom. He didn't kill them, but he made it clear he wouldn't be controlled anymore. He had been a slave in life, and in death nothing changed. He was tired of it all.
Though he was a master vampire, he didn't exactly live the life style. Simply because he couldn't. He lived in Europe and the vampire population was heavy. He moved to England where he lived for centuries until Columbus began his exploration.
Present Day: - Spoiler:
Six hundred and thirty one years later, Valintine was on a ship to the "New World" Of course he didn't know that's where they were going, but that's where he ended up. He adored this new space though. A place where he was his own master. He learned from the natives of the land about their own monsters. While they feared them, they sought to please them as well. Valintine was hailed as a god by them, but he assured them he was not.
He met with the vampires of that world and learned much of his race and his abilities. By speaking with them, he could see just how prideful the vampires of his land were. When Columbus left, he stayed. He was invisible on the ship anyway. Rolling the entire crew wasn't a huge task. About fifty years later, he discovered his animal to call while he was sleeping with a lycan. Their blood being far more potent than humans, and their lust so carnal and raw. It wasn't until after this particular encounter he awakened the ability to call felines of all kinds.
And so he has existed here for centuries and centuries. He never became the Master of the City until recently when the New York City vampire was accused of bringing too much attention to himself, which is a no-no. Valintine has assumed his place.
